What is degree of confidence that CD1 will be completed by next year? Seems like we aren’t making much progress.

The only valid mock exercise is the mocking of Schwidiots on this forum. Using complete and Schwab in the same sentence doesn’t make any sense.
@OP+1fbSXvqa: I originally said 2025 and I think that is pretty realistic, if by integration you mean all clients have access to TOS and Thinkpipes on a single order router (NGOMS).
@ggf+1fbSXvqa: “integration” as in CD1 is already happening without TOS. I’ve seen the deck, at least no TOS for blue clients for a while… that got descoped.
@ego+1fbSXvqa: the two mocks are basically can they convert the data. Technically yes, but it’s only like 25K rows and the downstream impacts aren’t all tested.
If you are asking this question to figure out when your CD1 retention will be paid, don’t worry, firms are happy to pay that out as a signing bonus.
Mid 2028.
what are the 2 mock exercises they finished successfully?
@ggf+1fbSXvqa In 5 years, there won’t be any traders left to worry about needing TOS.
The backup plan is to do CD1 with StreetSmart Edge. TOS will come in about 5 years.
I have more confidence in CD1 happening late next year than TOS being done late next year. Question is will Schwab allow CD1 to happen without TOS?
