I currently work at a fortune 500 company that's very toxic. Overworked and under paid.
Whats the enviorment like at 3m? Much different? Or same?

Don’t do it
In general I think it’s a decent place to work but as mentioned, it will be highly dependent on the role/team/management. The pay is average and we’ve been on a hot streak of lay offs at any given moment over the past 3-5 years.
Some of the bigger frustrations on this site are around a lot of the pointless restructurings and reduced headcount in the technical community. The former is annoying and the latter, combined with increasingly restrictive access to capital for equipment make doing new things harder and less frequent. As a result morale is not the highest everywhere.
All that said, I’m not planning on leaving so it can’t be that bad, right?
It highly depends on where in 3m you will work. It’s like a bunch of different companies .
Check other posts under 3M and decide for yourself. Should not be too hard !
