A better question would be why do customers like Oracle.

Why? Improved business intelligence.
What do think might happen in June?
They are , at the top, bunco artists.
Oracle is a dump that produces garbage products, except for the DB. But, the DB will be going downhill too soon. Customers don't want to pay for it, it's too expensive.
Oracle's ship is going down. Flee!!
My experience is that behind a dissatisfied customer, you will find an ex oracle employee that was scr.d by Oracle and is getting their revenge!
Karma.
The overall attitude of the organization is off putting. The reputation for mistreating customers is legendary. The products are not innovative and all the autonomous whatever’s is not going to change that.
Support, price, user interfaces, slow.
Oracle has always been one good product company - Database
Oracle Hospitality competitors have surpassed O on all levels. Oracle is far more expensive. Product is sold and the gouging begins, charging for everything never stops. Hoteliers are moving to other vendors that offer new features and components for less money, digital training & great support. Oracle oversells and can’t deliver promises causing customers to spend more and issues continue. Customers want what they pay for & Oracle is not delivering. So they get mad a leave. Oracle seems to know that independent hotel owners will not take the time & money for lawsuits. They will just cut bait & move on.
What Oracle does know is that hospitality culture is relationship based. And most independent hotels are connected to others that are connected to others. Word of mouth travels quickly in this industry. Corporate owned hotel brands are different. They have legal teams. This practice can
only go on for so long. It will be stopped soon. In comparing competitors, Oracle had lowest rating & reviews strongly suggests not to use Oracle.
