I used to think the pay was the main thing to consider when getting a new job. I thought that even if other things were far from ideal, that would make up for it. I was wrong. Doing something fulfilling instead of repeating the same task with different numbers over and over again is more important. Not feeling like you wasted your entire day or week matters. I can't blame Truist for this, this one is squarely on me. The bank offered me more money and I jumped to accept. I'll be more careful next time.
