Spring. Many more places to hide
If I am not mistaken, these are both in the lesser part of Texas state.
The polluted part barely above sea level.
Maybe for short-term, if you have no family, both can be good?
Who wants to work at a dirty smelly refinery? Anyway, down stream pays less than upstream so there is that.
Avoid Spring if you have to search/beg for charge codes for time writing.
Baytown is real. Spring is fake.
Midland
Higher chance of cancer and birth defects in Baytown. You can smell the microplastics in the air...
Spring is a bit up tight for me. Baytown is more hands on and focused.
Spring is undoubtedly a nicer location but it gets old being fake all day every day.
@ync+1fSW3am6 I do!
I choose EMHC.
Paid an extortionate salary, compared to the workers at sites that actually MAKE the money (imagine that), to create some broken models from a comfy, air-conditioned office.
@pxy+1fSW3am6 sir respectfully, you should seek professional help
Yes, but working in Baytown means that you would have to breath the air. Eeerr!
Spring works better for me. Spring is just minutes from my Woodlands home. Within 15 minutes of leaving the Spring office I can be at home, poolside, drinking a cold one. I love it! Life is good.
Fawley.
Baytown much better than Spring. Real facilities at EM at least keep you busy in a job you reasonably enjoy in spite of some minor drama around you. Spring us just full of a bunch of Corporate d bag types who don't like to get their hands dirty or aren't qualified to work at a real oil and gas facility. Global support and some IT of course excluded since they have Corporate we---e jobs anyway.
