HR DOESN'T CARE ABOUT YOU!

HR DOESN'T CARE ABOUT YOU!
GET READY FOR PIPS =)
@zuq+1fS5VoX0 It just suddenly came up this year on a team call with our director about if we needed help filling them in to let them know and we could put a meeting on their calender if needed.
Lol! HR’s job is not to protect the employees from their management. Their job is to protect the company. If you are worried about a PIP you must be doing something really wrong. If you are in sales, you have adequate amount of time to correct your actions and your management has to show they helped you too. And it has to be documented. Now, if you are worried your feeling ls are hurt or pressure, then you have another problem. I once knew someone in B2B, they literally missed quota for 12 months, it took the leadership another 3 months to separate. That person had super thick skin. The management will play mind games. Going to HR won’t help unless you can prove it is a form of harassment. BTW, sales pressure is not harassment.
@mfm+1fS5VoX0: why did you have to fill out a development plan? Nobody on my team had to.
Hey buddy, If you think they don’t care about reps, I got news for you… they care even less about managers…. HR in any business has to do one thing and one thing only. Take care of the company. I will tell you however, this company’s HR team takes care of their reps way more than you think.
Here is a tip from an old timer: Do your job and you’ll be ok. It’s not all about you and your feelings, there’s a lot of things that go into running a company this size that any of us basic people wont ever understand. If you did, you’d be running your own successful Fortune 500 company.
I found it odd this year suddenly in addition to the lerformance agreement nonsense they want us all to fill out a development plan with individual items like we are on a PIP but it “isnt a pip”. Maybe we are all secret pipped.
You must be one of the old ones. There is no pip. If you are worried about “pip” you must really suck at your job.
