Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

So alright already - leave!

I am not a FData shill. I loved the old Fiserv. But I am tired of all the comments that " someday I am going to leave." or " Wanna find a new job." SO DO THAT! Don't complain here - get on the sites, get your resume updated and out and get yourself out of the door on your terms and nobody else's.

Are people actually moving to Berkeley Heights? I'm on a team/location that was given the relo or severance notice and nobody I know of is actually moving, whole teams are being replaced.

A lot of vp’s and SVP’s are getting apartments and saying that they are moving. But they will maintain their current homes. Kind of the best of both worlds for them especially ones with FTS experience

Queue the guy that says our clients want us in the office...

Clients want good products and service, they could care less about people in the office. And for the 1-2 clients that might actually care, they need to retire because they are dinosaurs.

I feel bad for the people moving to NJ. High taxes, extreme laws, hurricanes, and don't forget long commute times. I can't wait to hear how many VP's and SVP's actually move to that office.

Geography doesn't mean anything in a innovative technology company, because employee's can work from anywhere in real fortune 500 technology companies. Just look at the top 100 companies. 90% of them have full remote job offerings. Berkeley Height is just the CEO lining his pockets with a greater disregard for our clients. They are the ones that will suffer when all the tribal knowledge is gone.

"Act like a global company?"

So layoff my experienced workers and then fail to hire anybody? Is that what a global company does?

Collaboration .. but we have people in India, Alpharetta, and all over the US and other countries!! It's called being a global company. So act like a global company. This is the way.

If geography matters then why try to relocate people to a toilet in NJ?

Geography matters because we will be experiencing the energy and power of co-location. #bestfintechontheplanet

What do you think this site is for? It isn't a corporate cheerleading site. If you are tired of seeing comments about leaving then maybe you shouldn't come here to look. Just saying...
