"You need to go work at an agent to get paid"

We have tons of others benefits
"We can't take away other benefits because our corporate executives would flip out if they lost those perks plus we would surely get unionized"

Lucky lots of new people, and the ones that I've surveyed think the new change will be a pay increase. Even though it's very clear it's not. New breed of reps aren't the most qualified or brightest. At least in telesales your team consists of just you. Stores are still on team store comp. Oh but there is a $200 bonus pre-tax if you crush your QoS. Wtf anyone going to do with $140 after taxes? Fill their tank one time? Go out to dinner for two one time? Pay 1/3 of the phone bill? You're better off saving your self from the extra labor, short breaks and just letting big red keep the kicker.

Why should a GM get commission when all they do is hide in the back. Why should anyone above sales rep get a commission check.

They need to raise the customer service wages. The yearly pay increase was just keeping up with inflation prior years, now this last year we're getting blown out of the water by inflation. I have to get a second job at this point. I like working for Verizon, but this is really putting a strain on me financially.

This new structure was designed to be a 20% reduction in commission across the board. There is proof out there. Historical numbers were run against the new structure. They know what they are doing. Telesales will bleed reps in 2 months.

What kind of low life make comments in this thread defending the commission structure when clearly it is will again reduce monthly payout? "It" says we must have no skill but to complain... as "it' writes complaints about people wtiting complaints. Don't think it's an HR tu-d... my bet is that its probably a low performing newly divorced DM with minimum skill except to kiss rear ends.

Relax dude they do this every other year ! You already know the company doesn’t work for you you work for them so I doubt it they will ever change the como plan to benefit you. Just ride the wave and see it as an extra hourly check .
