Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Latest news

From inside source, desktop support is all gone to India. Everyone fired. More layoffs are also coming. ( I have been through one IT outsource to India years ago and it was a disaster. Another firm I briefly worked for also outsourced to India with equally poor results. This will only hasten the end of Fiserv).

I’d like to ask Tony Marino…what about those unvaccinated that have had the privilege of keeping their job and WFH…gee did they win the lottery too? I think all associates should know the truth!

This is classic us talking from both ends of our mouth. You want to be remote so what’s the point of having desktop support being at a location.

Last few jobs I have been had given us admin rights, never needed any desktop support.

Yes it sucks I can tell you from first hand experience response time, communications, delivery, quality all of it is now poor at best. Don't blame the people we know who is to blame.

old news. it was outsourced to HCL, with some people staying on as rebadged contractors. others were shuffled to other teams / support areas within desktop to keep their FTE status.
