Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Nothing will improve

As time goes on, it's becoming clearer to me that nothing will change for the better. It’s more stressful than ever to work here. I expected much more from leadership, but unfortunately, very few people see their future here now. I thought I would never say that, but I advise everyone to take their talent somewhere where it will be more valued.

I’m glad I listened to my guy and took a life line that was offered out of the blue from a friend at another bank. I heard the horror stories of moe7 and the aftermath. Then was told that they’re expecting more from those that are still there. Yeah when asked what would or could change your mind I said could we go back to being SunTrust and BB&T. Seems like my BBT cohorts felt the same and the only people that felt differently were certainly being compensated and had corner offices.

Well, based on his comments we all know Jim Cramer ain’t a Truist customer and doesn’t know any…unless he thinks driving customers away is good for the stock price…

Jim Cramer stated the below yesterday in his lightening round segment:
Truist Financial Corp: "I like Truist. ... They're in the right place where wealth is, they're a very smart-run bank, I think it's a good place to be."

Not to be snarky, but I am interested in exactly why you expected “better” from this leadership team? If there is one thing “positive” I can say about our SunTrust management team, it is their actions have been 100% consistent from day one - they have never even tried to hide their disdain for their employees. Staying around here thinking things will get better with this management team is the absolute definition of insanity…

Look, if you don’t get out on your own then leadership will happily cut your job in support of cost savings.
Choose your own path.
