Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Is your team monitored through Verint?

My team is monitored through Verint. I thought it’s one of many software for a security. Experience people please share your experience. New to Humana and this type of softwares.

Verint can and does allow managers to watch every move you make. They will never tell you what all they can use it for. Just assume every move you make is monitored and observed.. it most likely is.

I work with a nursing program on the commercial side and we have stopped using Verent for over six months or so now. I know it’s still in the background working, but we do not have to do anything with it ourselves. We used to have to change our activity put in PTO hours and other stuff. Life is so much better without it.

Take a look for yourself. https://www.verint.com/workforce-management-solutions-wfm-software/ It's intrusive and removes any element of trust you may have had in your manager. Worse, it's often wrong.

Humana talks about trusting their associates, well being, respect and behind the scene monitoring everything you do. Hypocrisy at it best. If they aren’t transparent to their associates, how can they be transparent to their members. Now I know why there members leaving.

It really depends on the team and the work. If you’re in a call center or in an area where you’re expected to make calls, Verint often gets used. It helps the business keep up with what people actually said, in case there’s a dispute, and it helps managers and quality keep up with productivity. My advice: Use your work computer solely for your job. Use your personal device for anything else (assuming you’re allowed to use one during work hours). You should be okay.

Verint is a platform with many functions. We all work from home for the most part. Why people think this is the only place that tracks work is stupid. Every business has cameras. Every business has a metric. Every hospital had standards of time for everything we did. Nothing here is new.

This is insane. It’s similar to Kroger’s cashier job. It’s difficult to do best work when you know back of your mind, someone is watch dog.

Adding a little more color here. Verent tracks 100% of your computer movements. From where your mouse is on screen to the websites, applications and what your keystrokes are. Verent knows your scheduled work hours because it's managers work with WFM to input that data into the system. When you fall outside of those tasks, your manager is notified and is tasked with keeping you on your scheduled activities. Verent is a scary application and it's tracking more of your work day than management will ever want you to believe or know. Do your job and you will be fine.

So Verent shows how often you make a call how long you’re on a call the time tween calls. Your coach can also send you recorded calls that you can listen to and be evaluate it on. That’s why the aux codes are so important if there’s a gap between calls they need to know if you’re on break or lunch.Basically it maps out your activity for the day
