Since Verizon desires to be a green company one would think management would mandate work at home rather than leaving it up to the executives in each respective organization (Directors deliver the message, but they don't set policy). Also, add in the lack of energy independence and record high gasoline prices, work at home is the best option.

Companies only go green when they get green. They get tax credits for doing things or it saves them money they do it.
Verizon just pays lip service. Green is not sending people who have been working from home for the past year back to the office.
