Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Are you getting advice to offer eSim for a second line?

Here in South Florida, Miami, We are getting info and coaching to offer eSIM.

Hey, do you need a second line? Your phone is capable of a second number and we are going to give you a gift card with that. Whisper (Mr customer you can cancel after and keep the gift card)

Yes, that's what our DM, GM, and SM are telling us.

Talk about integrity huh!

@3qew+1fImDP9O 100% accurate but when a rep shows up with a low contribution score that’s when things will get messy. “ Yes , I know my numbers come in lower then the other reps in the store but I refuse to slam esims and do false churn. If you would like to roll this up to HR then be my guest.” Good luck terminating low performing reps anymore when they will have solid proof of slamming within the store. It’s very easy to pull up esim usage reports and false churn. Another reason a union could be a valuable asset in these cases. I’m not really for a union other then for spite reasons but that’s another topic.

I mean with the high quotas and possibly small commission checks what else are the reps suppose to do ? You think that walk in business will make quotas? Sorry but no choice but to slam these days. Verizon has made it like this. Team slamming is the new norm. As sad as it sounds it’s the new reality.

What do you expect from a district that doesn’t even interview for their GM openings anymore. They just hand the job to their peers and don’t even post it.

Sounds like desperation. Verizon stores all look desperate lately. Relics of a bygone era just like Sears and JC Penny.

No wonder all they do is have a meeting after a meeting to talk about their dirty moves and get numbers with false numbers. The worse party is "Integrity" only applies to representatives but never to managers, those who come late, leave early, and have you ever wondered those "Hybrid GMs" yes those that go to one store for 2 hours and then say they are leaving to another store and be there for 2 hours but then go home. Yeah, those GMs that no one knows about their time because they don't clock in or clock out.

Integrity huh!

"Integrity is at the core of who we are," is the biggest LIE I have ever heard. There is 0 Integrity.

Well deserved escalations. Exactly why I’d never go into management here. Can’t manage what you can’t stand behind or defend. I often wonder how much it’s costing the company to allow this to go on vs tighten up ship and not have to pay csr service reps to spend hrs on the phone reviewing these “issues” w customers. Obv the goal is to maintain pressure at all costs so custs utilize other purchasing options and justify store closures. Some business model
