I'll start. When I put the customer on with asurion to make a claim and the asurion rep tries to sell vz home. The customer always rolls their eyes and says, "why are they trying to sell me something? I just want my phone fixed."

The term “needs of the business” when it is used to justify the abuse of employees. Happens more than you think.
Walking into a VZ cell phone shop used to make me cringe. All those clerks hovering around the front door practically pounce on you. Thank God for Mint Mobile and Amazon. Never have to go to a cell phone shop again!
Asurion people are relentless ? How about the telesales team ? When it comes to VZHome they are out of control. I work in a retail store and I refuse to slam products. Right now the big hot button is esims and adding lines for tablets and watches. When did false churn become ok to do ? Do the right thing and upgrade the line. If your numbers come in soft compared to the rest of the store ( like getting a 1 or even 3 on contribution report) make sure you comment or document that you refuse to do false churn.
It's literally the only way to sell vzhome is to put in the quote and gloss over it, or pressure them on the phone via asurion. Those asurion people are relentless
Hopefully the customer is not in South Florida, customers here get slammed with VZ Home in their quotes for anything, want to upgrade let me do a Quote (add vz home and don't tell the customer) Yes that is the best practice here in South Florida and GM, SM and DM know this is the only way to get sales bucket up.
