Meetings held in person yesterday to layoff and use external vendors. Talks are preliminary but expected to roll out in Q4.

Many things will switch to vendors after 2023.
They haven't gotten anyone hired for us and have been terrible to deal with so not surprised
They could outsource and use contractors for everything that isnt protected by a union. Most of the company doesnt add anything directly to the bottom line either.

Get rid of HR! What a waste of money, and a total drag on earnings. They bring nothing to the table.
So HR and TA (aka recruiting) got new leaders and with the upcoming new HR system and processes sounds like they are taking advantage and outsourcing/eliminating what they think they can.
