Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

What happened to Winner’s Circle jrek?

Last week I guess they announced the results ? Usually there are like 3-4 reps per district winning this thing and yet not one person qualified in mine ? How is that even possible ? Did they change the criteria and make it nearly impossible to achieve ?

Isn't it obvious? Managers allow this because its always about numbers. You want to stroke the ego of your boss? Find a way to increase your numbers. You'll be praised on a call. Shouted out in the chat. Other store's GMs will call you to find out how you are so successful. "Ohhh wowwwieee look at the Connecticut store! They are doooing sooo well with VZ Home! Lets all give them a round of applause 👏 Really great job guys!" They probably got a fill the fridge and checks much bigger than mine, but at least I know that every sale I ever sold has been with integrity.

@2bwq+1fFIlzPB I think the person is talking about the BYOD e-gift card credit when someone adds another line using the esim. Put it on the high tier plan and they qualify for $500. It works great if a customer has 4 lines and they add the esim as the 5th. The talk track is “ we can add the 5th line with little or no change to your bill and we give you a $500 gift card , how does that sound? Of course it sounds like a no brainer only the problem is it generates negative revenue for Verizon in most cases. Shady AF. Why managers allow this is incredible.

Wow ! I wasn’t sure what to believe but I checked out the numbers of that Connecticut store. The E-Sim game is real. After some diligent research the store uses the dangling carrot of the $ 500 e-gift card to close the esim quotes. How about using some integrity ? Leadership is a joke if they allow this to go on.

Here in South Florida is all about slamming accounts

Add VZ Home to your Quote and don't go into detail about the charges, give them the total if the customer likes it then keep going with the sale until the customer gets the bill and sees a $50 Charge for VZ Protect and $25 for VZ Home. Sorry Customer call customer service if you want that charge credit back to your account.

All of this comes from our great DM ideas on how to be the best in South Florida

Eliminate slamming? Hah! That was just some nice talk track when they went to team commission. It’s partly true tho I guess, can’t slam - no phone. Complete bs. Feel sorry for ppl.

Wow!! That makes so much sense. We had a meeting and our DM was like esim esim esim. Wooooowww. They should all be terminated, but instead they get rewarded.

There is a store in Connecticut that won Winners Circle. Take a look at the numbers. If you want to see a classic case of “ slamming “ and processing ghost ESIM lines look no further. Part of 2.0 and going away from an individual commission plan was to help eliminate the slamming and build trust back with our customers. Shame on this store for manipulating the system. I would love to know how many of those esims show active usage ? Oh nevermind I already know the answer.

Winner’s circle is team based.

Gotta call BS on this post. Normally I’m in line with what people say, but the winners circle stuff was announced yesterday. The criteria has been posted since last year, it’s no different really outside of it being a team winning instead of individuals. Your team didn’t hit the targets. Sorry you lost.

I was thinking the same thing and they pulled the reporting 2 weeks into December, why? Seems a bit fishy.
