Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

It's not even RTO

I see many posts commenting that most are leaving due to RTO, but that's not even it. There were plenty of reasons to leave Fiserv long before RTO became a thing. That might have been the last straw for many, but it's certainly not the only or the biggest reason. More work for the same low pay is one of the biggest ones. We're just seeing the culmination of years of abuse.

Don't be mad at other groups for doing what is best for themselves as individuals. Be mad at senior management for only doing what is best for themselves as individuals.

It was stated on a staff call that Foskett wants associates in the ofc 4 days a week/wfh 1 day per week. The mishmash of that terrible communication really said nothing. One dept really has no flexibility and will not discuss any days to wfh. However, if your boss is not in same physical location that you work people are doing what they want and not coming to ofc. One person didn’t come to ofc for several months and boss didn’t know. Lots of anamosity building within group. And obviously upper mgmt doesn’t care.

Why do people come here to share that Fiserv has 44,000 employees? Clearly obsessed - move on!

Frank don't care if you spend $20 a gallon on gas to come to an office to take the same Teams call that you could at home.

Fiserv doesn't spend money on gas. The employees do. There is no cost savings for Fiserv if the employees stop driving in to work.

It is more likely that Fiserv will accept donations to help minority owned food trucks with rising gas prices.

For those that missed it gasoline is now at lest $4.00 a gallon amd going up. Look for RTO to be curtailed yet again due to soaring fuel prices.
