Humana is trying so hard to get merged with someone from so long. It’s like a desperate person trying to marry anyone to have $€X
Not likely they would merge with another insurance company but maybe. They will need to merge with a profitable company that has and can offer services Humana lacks or is struggling with. Big money in retail pharmacy that could help Humana out a lot and allow them to provide their in-home/ community services they are now focused on. It would also allow Walgreens to act as a minute clinic serving Humana members. The Aetna/CVS merger is a perfect example.
Walgreens would be interested. It's all about synergies. Humana Pharmacy is big business... Just think of the cuts they could make. When companies talk about mergers they are trying to get the trade but cut the costs... The duplication of tasks between Walgreens and Humana Pharmacy must be huge. And the rich shall get richer.
Why would someone pay money for merger when there members are coming to the competing company without effort? Walgreens is looking for its own survival 😂😂😂
Hmmm… that’s a good guess. I haven’t really thought that Humana might merge with another company. Do you think it might be with another insurance company? United Health Group, or something?
