In my store, the only way you get to be a supervisor is if you are a pretty female or you worked with a manager at Home Depot. And forget about it if you're a minority. You have no shot.

Notice that this is a common topic in many threads for Lowe's? It shows this is taught from the top down. There is no equality - they certainly don't walk the talk and the man running the biz, is just a well paid showpiece. Dance for us mister. SAD stuff.
Same thing goes for assistance. Electrical at my store rarely gets assistance working freight, but with a staff of 1 DS and a part timer. I was expected to help unload the truck, bring out freight for the overnight team. Complete minor resets, work remaining freight, cover plumbing and assist fashion with their freight, back up cashiers… Lol - Nope. They won, find another su---r.

Same in my store. Unless you're a pretty white female, you won't get promoted. And then they do nothing except get others to do their work. I thought this was 2022.
Guess you need to buy some knee pads and start smootching. Remember to start with the no qualification Asm’s that were promoted because they had the foresight to get top quality knee pads and say yes regardless of the outcome. Then the third round of new store managers that have no clue but will do my every command.
