BO-M! Hourly rate. You are already earning at the new rate as of Monday.
Tax exempt only impacts fed tax rate not as etc. State doesn't allow exempt anymore sadly
Merit will be on next check as it isn't effective until next week.
@wtn No, but you started earning the new pay rate as of Monday so you may be able to view it in another area of workday. I remember seeing a section that had my hourly rate. Go play around in there or wait for someone to post.
@yqf Im not sure why but it seems easier on HR to send one remittance for the payout. I went into my W4 and changed the status to tax EXEMPT and they still take out SS and state taxes. I have to pay tax on it next season but if you have kids and/or normally get a refund, it’s worth getting your bonus untaxed. When they tax the bonus payment, it’s taxed at a higher rate than your normal ck. I will go back in and uncheck EXEMPT today.
But it's not in your checking account yet.
Patience.....
Does anyone know why the bonus cannot be a separate check?
Many years ago, it was separated.
Do you see your merit increase as well?
