Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

I should've given up long time ago

It is my own fault that for a long time I didn't want to accept that those who give their best are the least valued here. Instead of giving up a long time ago and going somewhere where I wouldn't be treated so badly, I stayed here and exhausted myself by trying to work even harder. I learned the hard way that there is no way to earn some respect and make progress while working at Mondelez. Now I am going to another company and I have no doubt that I will be better off there, but I wonder where will Mondelez end up with such a strategy and disrespect for the best employees?

I believe the strategy is to irritate as many people as possible out the door to save on severance. Yes, it does seem as though brown nosers and mushrooms are all they want here.

YES! Congratulations! Its sad, but hard work gets you nowhere at Mondelez. What does get you promoted is things like; relations to management, connections to management, willingness to sleep with management....you get it!
Moving on, with all your integrity intact, will get you places.
As far as where Mondelez will end up, who cares? My boss, our DM, is an alcoholic, divorced, is middle aged and lives alone in an apartment. Some may see him as a success, I see him as a loser, big drunk loser.
Only worry about yourself and where you are going and focus on getting there!
Congrats to you!
