So.... not many takers on that offer. Tsunami will continue, followed by a disastrous hiring spree, where all the interviewers have no idea what they are doing. LOL!! Would love to be there to see it, but I have left the company! So should you!

Everyone just needs to get out. Don’t let you slave master pocket anymore money at your expense. If he can’t share the wealth, LE needs to face the consequences.

I think we can safely say that this trial ballon has burst! There will be no raise, and there will be smaller bonuses paid out!

The talent exodus will continue unabated!

Are you kidding? 7-10%? That can’t possibly make up for the harassment I have gone through. And it doesn’t cover the years of no raises even. Ridiculous.

This is so true. I worked in a GBU with people who are straight up robbing oracle. And they’ve stolen from employees in every way. Stay away from the GBU side. I can’t say I’ve heard anything good about any of them. Oracle would buy a t-erd.

Could be 25% it won’t matter to those that can leave. No one wants to report to some of the totally unqualified and insecure managers at Oracle.

Even after the raise and bonus you mentioned, I bet you'll still be underpaid by 30%+ in comparison to market rates.

Definition of a loser …

A non oracle employee who hangs around and comments on an oracle layoff page!

Yes I will stay, but not for the raise. Rather, I will stay because this company is the only place that will employee me at all. I have squandered my tech cred by staying here too long, my skills are now out-dated and I have no choice but to continue cowering under my desk in hopes of a paycheck - any paycheck! It's my own personal oracle nightmare/he-l, though I take some solace in knowing that everyone else who hasn't left yet is in the exact same boat of c-team employees as me.

For people at a certain point in their careers, this would be just fine. Not like they are doing much anyway. Like the person here who brags about drawing salary while working 2 hours a week and doing a side gig. Or the guy who ignores customers in favor of watching Netflix. Or the many folks just trying to hang ona few more years until retirement.

This sounds like a bribe. Money only goes so far as a motivator. Money often motivates the wrong people.

For me it was never about the money. The people I was working with were just scumbags. That was it. Just a truly horrible group of people to work with.
