The pse position is now titled as an In Home Consultant. What does this mean for the program?

Looks like IHC is going away.
In addition to changing the name, it also cut over 200 jobs. The people who didn't lose their jobs are now covering twice the territory. Oh, since you changed title you won't get a yearly pay raise or bonus or anything like that either. The optimization installers are going to take over the program soon and Lowe's will just cut the position in near future is my guess.
The new head of the IHC (formally PSE) program is a typical loudmouth, never done what he demands of others that Lowes loves to promote. He never was a PSE, never sold a window, roof, gutter or any exterior yet acts like he is the Lord’s gift to in-home sales. He got Lowes sued by intimidating PSIs into immediately signing releases they legally had a right to review for 30 days. He had massive turn over in DMIS because he was such a bag of feminine hygiene water. He will single handedly run off what is left of effective in-home selling team members.
Good luck selling an entry door install with a starting labor price of $1,539. They just priced Lowes right out of the door business. Basic storm door labor is now $339.00. The clientele at my store are gonna laugh and walk out, or get mad and confrontational. Thanks for the price gouge, Turtle.
Name change only. The position is still salaried and you are responsible for achieving a budget through in-home selling.
Just like appliancesThey made too many commissions and lows had to pay out.Corporates got to come up with a way to cut those losses
Little by little it's caving in!
