Have anyone been told by their people leader to complete the COVID app daily when they report sick day. Isn't that a violation of your rights if you do not have COVID or haven't been into contact with someone who is infected. Feedback appreciated.

The covid app is for when you need to access company properties. Before you enter.. you answer the question.
If you aren't entering company property or going to company work sites.. don't fill out the questions. Its not required.
This could have bee answered with some common sense a long time ago for you.
No, I have not heard of anybody being asked to do that. But, hypothetically, which rights do you think might be violated?

Yeah, if you aren’t going into the office, for any reason, you don’t have to fill out the app.
Uh? You're really upset at the company wanting you to disclose if you are unwell?
If you are not going into the workplace because you are out sick, on holiday, the weekend, you don't have to complete the app.

We need to stand up for this in masses! Our personal health is none of the bossmans' business! Freedom is not showing your papers to enter businesses. This doesn't happen in Poland, Yugoslavia, Russia, please stop this tyrant Mr Dressup in Ottawa.
