Omg the email about “improved workplace” cracked me up. This is seriously the most penny-punching company ever. We already had all that stuff in my office, and still no one wants to go back… and anyone leaving for a remote job knows that what they really want is the flexibility. And option for a nap. ;-)

Schwab continues to be a raging dumpster fire. We seriously need better employees….
Or just jump ship to an already better company. Easy peasy
I remembered when the phoenix peak had complimentary valet parking. That was nice. At least parking won’t be so bad now that 50% of the peak employees are fully remote.
@1pqh+1f2gf96D It’s not, but I wish you could have had those perks that we used to 😕.

Blue here. If its any consolation, we never had any of the cool perks you guys had like free catered lunches.
Even though they didn’t mention it, the daily free catered lunch in the TDA Chicago office is surely a goner.
I was unimpressed. I’m sure nobody missed the fact all the benefits going away were limited to Schwab Green. If that isn’t the overarching theme of this integration, I don’t know what is.
Those post-lunch naps when I’m WFH are amazing though. A Schwab office could never compete with that.
This is going to be so much fun watching the post bonus/merit dumpster fire. Yes, you can cut perks and give sh-t raises, but that doesn’t mean people are going to bend over and take it either.
Funny, OptionsXpress had free LaCroix and free lunch on expiration Friday and Schwab got rid off all that.
They promote "healthy snacks" but are removing the gym equipment from the TDA sites that is already bought and paid for? @$$ backwards if you ask me.
