People are probably fuming that the matches aren't there as soon as they wake up.

I maxed out at $26K and got a 6% match on my base and bonus which was over $12K - you may want to check your math.
What I was given was not 6% of my salary plus bonus. It was lower by about $1,000. Not sure the math they are doing, but if I put in 6% of my salary, I feel I should at least see a figure close to my contributions. I also shut off contributions at bonus time so that would be $0 for bonus. Had the winter weather yesterday knocking out power so will call HR today to see if they can explain.
@2wmn+1ezxLi8u no, it’s not salary bro. It’s certified compensation which includes things like your bonus
They match 6% of your salary, not your contribution and it’s excluded from the irs limits.
Poster with the “received 11000 company match. If the IRS Max is 26000 and WF only matches within IRS limits that is amazing that you got 11000
Got my 11000. Thanks WF. I lost a 35 percent return on it over this past year. Losers.
Yes.. you can move it on Monday
Suggest you move it quick
After a 60% rally, WFC is going to be flat or down for a while
“All I know is that Wells Fargo stock better not crash between now and January 12, when the 401k contribution converts from WFC stock to the existing allocation.”
Why January 12? Can’t you move it on Monday? I know it processes after the markets close, but that’s still one day for it to change prices instead of 8…
Is it normal for them to come in the coming days instead of today?
All I know is that Wells Fargo stock better not crash between now and January 12, when the 401k contribution converts from WFC stock to the existing allocation.
Who's moving their matching contributions?
This annual match/one time policy does suck! My company (a different one - that I left in Oct) does this too. Major lost opportunity cost. And since I was not there Dec 31. I get zero match for the entire year - but it was still worth leaving this being one reason.
We lost an approx 30% appreciation
WFC went up 60% in 2021. If we had been awarded the shares every quarter we would have seen appreciation
As it stands now it's ZERO
shared purchased yesterday for 47.30717
7AM CST - it's finally there ready to be transferred. LOL
2:23 am HST and it's there.
Jan 1, 12:18 am. No match yet. Not under transactions either. Maybe it has to update overnight…
No match yet here. 8:25 p.m. PT
You can see the match under transactions. The positions get updated when the site does nightly batch processing around 2am
Still hasn't posted. Did they mean 12/31/22?
@g-y+1ezxLi8u,
Yes, it is 6% of base plus bonus.
Technically, it is a dollar for dollar match with a cap at 6%. So, if you agree for 6% of your pay to go to your 401k and leave it at that contribution level for the whole year then it will come out of both your base and bonus. Therefore your match would be that exact same amount which is 6% of your base and bonus.
Yes, you should call Senator Warren
Nothing yet, should I be worried?
Shart is having a rotten day knowing he had to pay up to more of us than he wanted to
Still nada here.
Mine came in. Fun times. I'll never bellyache about free money. Bonuses/increases are next.
Did you set your alarm just to wake up and make this lame post?
A little off topic but is the 1 percent based on base salary or base plus bonus. I know 75 is the max salary for it. Thanks!
Mine's still not posted.

Mine was 6% of base plus bonus. I assumed it would be 6% of base only.
Yesterday would have been the perfect day for bad press.
Maybe you should be working for a company that deposits your 401k match every 2 weeks like a normal good company does...
The weak and frail empower site gonna crash , it’s already super slow.
is it 6%?? mine is 6.7% when I did my napkin math.
WFC had a 60% return in 2021
But I very much doubt we would see those kind of returns in 2022
The money goes into your account and they buy the stock when the market opens. Hopefully we get in at $48.10 or thereabouts and it runs up a few dollars.
I love money
It showed up under transactions.
Hoping it allows a transfer today itself.
Planning to transfer to Nasdaq. Pelosi bought a ton of calls on tech stocks. She must know that legislation to stymie tech stocks will be blocked. :)
I have so much money there, I can't even tell if it showed up or not.
Odd, I can see it in my transaction history, but not “my investments”
