Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Dept Supervisors PMP

With the DS PMPs coming up around the corner, anyone actually think they may give us a raise that would help balance this insane inflation rate we are dealing with? My raise never even covers the increased cost of my health insurance year after year. It’s a joke and frustrated. I’m really hoping they will recognize that other companies are paying more and follow suit. I’m a dreamer I know.

Increases are based on where you on the pay scale for your position/market. They are automatic unless your store manager makes an adjustment to it. The higher you are on the scale, the lower the increase. However the store manager does have the ability to block a raise or take from one and put it toward another.

Stop spending a majority of yo paycheck on smokes and booze and you'll notice a dramatic pay increase just from that.

I am not sure if every district works the same but in our market/district the raise for a specialist is always 3%. If you sell 750K or 1.5 Mil or 2.5 Mil it's still 3%. No real incentive to push for higher achievement is it???

Raises are divided and handed out by the store manager. So the question is, are you doing anything handy for the store manager???
