This is the first piece of good news I’ve heard from Fiserv in a very long time. What are your thoughts?

Coming soon: The Great Return II
"Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the office."
My manager is. Wants us to come in atleast 3 times a week (This was before the 1/18 announcement)
I will decide what I 'prefer' regardless of the date. Good luck getting anyone to come back into the office now no matter how many emails HR sends out. So much unnecessary attrition of great people and wasted energy on your failed great return. Keep pushing it though.
Stop lying no one is pushing anyone in the office. Associate can decide what they prefer between now and 1/18 and prior to there will be an update.
By 1/18, HR will send out a message stating that Frank's ego is more dangerous than covid and all employees should RTO or else. Bet.
I would think they don’t want sick people returning and infect the rest…plus they may be having issues getting testing supplies
It gives me great pleasure to see Frank's rinky-di-k "The Great Return" plan burst at the seams and go up in flames. Who will you blame this time?
Just refuse to go in the office. It's not safe and they know that. And yet they are still pushing this RTO nonsense.
They are still hoping to push RTO by the 18th or soon thereafter… do they seriously think things will miraculously get better in two weeks? Or will it damage their fragile pride telling us a more realistic date when cases will ACTUALLY be subsiding and NOT just starting to take off (could be February or March according to charts). I really don’t get it. Also…did anyone catch how Frank’s WFH email refused to address the severity of the virus and instead made it seem like he was giving us a nice “Holiday Gift”? Just admit you messed up by forcing this “Great Return” and are now (surprise) having to retract everything because of your narrow and non-forward thinking. If they still force RTO by the 18th I will be p-ssed.
They should have never forced people back in the office... like ever. Now that half of the people were fired or forced out, they are going back to remote. That's great leadership right there. LOL
Read the memo please. It says there will be another update prior to 1/18.
Frank does nothing that doesn't benefit Frank and the stock price.
Makes sense. Everyone who infected themselves over Christmas and New Years should work it out of their system before they force everyone back into the office.
Last I heard work from home was optional. Did that change?
New Variant ---> Lockdown ---> Injections ----> Ease restrictions ----> New Variant
Its endemic people.
It’s ironic that we are now being forced back to remote work.
Looks like another "15 Days to Flatten the Curve". LOL! However, we are still on Day 650 of the first one..
Alpharetta office - just took a drive through it (down memory lane) and was surprised that from a full lot of cars there were perhaps 30 and about none in the 3 deck garage. Absolute empty. Incredible. Either working from home or working at a new job.
My thoughts are that this is the correct decision, but that it makes the rush for a "Great Return" last summer look very short-sighted and the mantra that "We are at our best when we are together" sound totally tone-deaf.
Big slap in the face to all the associates who either were forced out or decided to quit the past couple months because they were unable or unwilling to go to an office 5 days a week or relocate to a hub location.
I'd be surprised if the WFH mandate isn't extended again come 1/18. This has all back-fired in a big way.
It sounds like they are hoping the peak will be subsiding by then... but I am not sure they're right.
The serious analysis I have seen show it not quieting down until February, in different parts of the country.
For those that have to go into an office, I am glad they kicked the can down the road a bit. Maybe they'll start small (managers and execs in first then phase people in) .
In either case, it sounds like it is going to be a simply horrible working experience.
I for one will be gone by then! I wish all the rest well.
This has nothing to do with looking out for the welfare of the employees and everything to do with the company trying to save its own a-s.
Not forward thinking enough. Things are going to be worse by 1/18.
