Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Covid cases increasing

Looking at the covid numbers that have come out this past week, it looks like there are going to be far more cases in the upcoming month(s) than there were this time last year, when we were all WFH. Why are we still in an office? This is very unsafe and irresponsible of Fiserv. Does anyone think we will be WFH again after the holidays?

“We're busy putting the final touches on a comprehensive post holiday return to office program. When we return in January you'll be more protected and safe from the virus then you would be at home! We're also looking forward to bringing back those who have not been vaccinated and each facility will be segregated between vaccinated and un-vaccinated.”

Stupid is as stupid does. Fiserv cares less about employees health and safety, and more about employee control.

Our team got the "remote work til the holidays and logistics of your return to the office will arrive the week of Dec 27" email.

In my area, COVID rates are zooming (shattering previous records) and there is no way I will return to any office after the holiday spike.

So, it will be interesting to see what date they set for it given the current surge and what our state expects after the holiday!

Frank and co. desperately try to emulate Jeff but are failing horribly and are destroying the company instead.

The sad part? Just after Jeff left, upper management came across as caring during the pandemic. They talked a good talk. But the moment Frank said, on a Client 4Life call, quite aggressively, “our clients are in their offices; so should we”, thats the moment Frankserv became a company that put clients ahead of employees.

All non essential workers have the option to work remotely through the end of the year. Next week we'll be announcing enhanced return to office protocols that will kick off in 2022. These will include daily screenings, mask requirements and the creation of work zones among other things. Together Everyone Achieves More!!!

I didn't see it. The notice that was sent was only for the last two weeks of the year "to spend more time with family:

A memo was sent out last week to all associates allowing them to work from home until further notice (unless their job is essential). Search Fiserv Communications on Fuel. Please don’t continue to make up your own facts.

Fiserv cares very little for it’s employees.

Frank doesn't care about anyone's health and well being. If he did, he wouldn't force everyone to relocate or come into the office.

At Fiserv, health and safety being a top priority is a complete lie. Frank's ego is the top priority.

  1. Frank will only care when he is forced to.
  1. Devil's Advocate: With the far-weaker Omicron variant, cases doesn't necessarily translate to 'severe illness', let alone hospitalizations.

I know of a service team inOmaha that was told they only need to be in the office two days a week....mixed messages continue for the rest of us in Omaha!

Frank and Guy will just copy whatever JPMC decides to do; they are utterly unable to come up with their own policies.
