I just play d-mb. Dont touch anything. Smile. When they ask questions i act like its the first time i ever saw it and read it verbatim and i dont tell people what buttons to push. I tell them its a personal choice
Had one yesterday come back to our store with a cheap amazon brand screen protector and demanded we put it on because we didn't have the screen protector for her phone when she got it. I tried to tell her we don't put on 3rd party screens but she didn't want to give any effort. So what I do? I took it all out of the box and handed her piece by piece the screen wipe, then cloth, then alignment bracket and finally the screen and made her do it all. Then I said "there, see how easy it is when you just give a little effort?"
Sorry to say it's not just a senior citizen training center, it's all age groups and if you even try too let them turn on or activate a new phone they will become belligerent and you could have a bad ris survey. It's not worth it.! It should be called" open or closed box FedEx syndrome "Its become so easy for the phones to do content transfer that its becoming almost beyond belief. If the original phone is damaged or lost I can understand the frustration Happy holidays.
it basically seems like the store has become a senior citizen training center and less of a sales store, its ridiculous but i explained the difference between cellular and wifi to a lady who gave me a blank stare so i gave her tech support number and told her to get the fu-k out in the nicest way possible
This is not an overstatement. This happens to me every single day all day.
