Only two cities in Cali tested on vz 5G uwb but looks like 5G ultra wide band needs much improvement before it’s ready for commercial use.
Any wireless engineer input is appreciated.

@1wbw+1eqP1rna - it appears to go 50 ft when the NSA anchors are set incorrectly, unfortunately, that's quite often.
Missing 5G NSA anchors are causing 5G UWB coverage holes. Easy fix if you get into the field and know what to look at. Trying to fix it from a desk using some algorithm will never work and continue to waste 5G UWB investments.
Sounds like Hans oversold 5G. I hope we can monetized i-5G, inferior 5G.
Well, coming from a network guy, UWB is not the primary focus. C-Band is the best tech coming with better coverage and way better building penetration. Also T-Mobiles 700 band is not actually 5g. In order for a service to be considered 5g it needs to be running on 10g sfp connection or better, giving a range of 1.5-2.5gb up and at least 500mb down. Verizon also has a 5g called 850nr this much like T-Mobiles is not truly 5g and is just a PR grab. Verizon and ATT will be the primary carriers for true 5g coverage and speeds.
This was a colossal FU by trying to do it on 'the cheap' and ending up once again having to "buy high/sell low". The other problem is GoogleFi.
Definitely played this hand wrong, but it is not an unsurvivable error. Thomas Edison called it wrong with betting on Direct Current while George Westinghouse and Tesla bet on the winning Alternating Current that we use today.
Edison ended up doing all right with his little company General Electric and as will VZ.
vz 5g uwb can only travel 50 feet. t mobile 600mhz 5g can travel 30 miles.
