Fiserv is failing

Fiserv on target to miss budget by over $70M. Solution? Cutting 10% of the bonus eligible population. Get ready for a package everyone and if you aren't that lucky, do not expect the bonus you worked for.

FB still on track to kick people out of remote and replace in NJ where salaries are skyrocketing. How is that fixing the losses?

A company that only solves problems via squeezing the people dry will never innovate or lead.

Put myself open to jobs on LinkedIn today and plan to be out as soon as possible. Not going down with this shithole.

I'm bonus eligible, though I've trained myself year over year NOT to expect anything extra. If I get a little something, I'm always pleasantly SURPRISED. Bonuses are at the manager's discretion. I've had managers who truly appreciated me and rewarded the max even when they didn't have to. And then you have the low-functioning, clownish manager who is working against you--especially with respect to fair and just appraisals, merit increases, and yeah...bonuses.

You could say that I've long perfected the art of keeping expectations low. Except that I'm leaving the company in Q2 of 2022, with high expectations for everything bigger and better in my professional life.
