Posts this weekend saying how those clued in by their HR buddies were SURE an email would be arriving today delaying RTO - much like I anticipated it was total BS.
Matters not to me since I am accommodated remote but kind of stinks that someone took the time to pour false hope out there for those that do have to go back and are stressing about it.
I think a couple things....
The poster seriously has no life and they're an a$$hat. Here's hoping they get what's coming to them.

Yeah I say give it time as well. I heard my team is supposed to send something out today. I’m sure if it’s coming people are having to scramble and figure out what to say without looking too stupid. And FAQs etc all probably need to be updated in advance.
One thing for sure. The communication around RTO has been terrible and heartless. The first comms changing the whole plan sent right before thanksgiving. Other communications came and leaders still had no idea the real impact to their employees. This has been a disaster from the start. I have gotten 3 RTO comms within days of each other with different timeframes from different leaders. If WF can’t get their act together to get communications out consistently how in the heck do they expect to get people safely back in the office.
And managers still have no idea how the tracking will be done, if different locations in one city count as a day in the office or only home base, how calculations for 3 days a week will combine with PTO. IE if I take PTO 2 days do I have to be in the office the other 2. WF should have very detailed information out before throwing out these terrible communications and leaving managers with all these questions from employees that they cannot answer. The worst implementation ever. Maybe they should engaged some of WF project managers who could have even done a better job. It’s a joke!

It’s coming my friend…just you wait.
Most of the delay RTO emails come out at end of day, before calling someone out make sure you are correct.
I do recall that they mentioned early this week.
To be fair, the day hasn't ended yet. Maybe this post will be more relevant in 3-4 hours? I have no idea if an email will or won't come, but you have to give it time.
the day is young my friend and there is a lot of time between now and Jan 10
I'm inclined to agree.
