Usually there are layoffs in February too. Oh and all the other months as well. This is HPE.

I heard they were laying off the soy latte boys who hide in their mama's spare bedroom. "Yes sir, please can I have another booster sir.... the big scary virus is so frightening..."

HPE needs leaders, not followers.

HPE is always getting rid of people. Senior management totally screws things up and they get to stay. As long as that's going on nothing will change. I believe that the 2nd and 3rd level managers are hiding the results of their bonehead decisions from Antonio. Good luck with all that!

If they are, they have been planned for months and target employees have been identified. Management knows about this stuff far in advance of the trench workers.

Laying off workers has become a tradition at HPE to manipulate the numbers and hide declining sales and profits so I don't see why this next quarter won't be business as usual. Remember senior management has to hit key metrics so they can get their very lucrative bonuses so they'll throw you to the wolves to hit those targets.
