Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

A notice to people who are moving into new positions. You simply can’t trust people when money is involved at oracle. Get a clear designation that the role is going to be a promotion versus a mgmt transfer. Oracle loves their people so much, they are now using these “mgmt transfers” as a way to “promote” people cause their mgmt sr mgmt VP and HR are subhuman. If the manager who is hiring you doesn’t not clearly stipulate it as promotion with more money, ask ask ask. The longer you don’t ask, the closer they are to dumping on you. And it doesn’t matter how good you were at your old job. And do not trust the HR partner of any group to help you. They’re basically the human equivalent of a bot and they know cannot make their salary doing an honorable job. Oracle mgmt get kudos from Botox Betty and Bowl Cut Bob when they can get someone for nothing. It says loser mentality cause well, those people are losers. If you want a real raise like adults give, leave Oracle. It will be the best decision you ever made.
