Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

THANK YOU NIKE

They made the right decision in delaying the return to work. Overall I’m happy here but have been critical lately of this policy, plus remote work. It could have happened sooner, but glad leadership realized this was the safest option.

They need a certain number of employees on campus or in Oregon to continue to receive their tax cuts. If they offer remote outside of OR they won't receive the tax cuts. It would be difficult for them to hire only OR remote workers or ask others to move to OR but you can work from home. I want to say their contract with Beaverton/state if OR goes to 2035 or something.

Typical Nike, doing the human thing months too late and dragging their employees through the mud in the process...then wanting a bunch of pats on the back and "thank you!" from the bootlickers.

As for being a "trendsetting company" Nike hasnt been that in years. Its like an aging Hollywood Starlet whose taken to drinking and best years are far behind her.

So let me see if I understand science-

  • vaccines work
  • you still need boosters (unknown how long this will go on)
  • they don’t work if unvaxxed people are around you
  • natural immunity isn’t a thing anymore
  • the variant is so contagious we need to shut down campus longer
  • you still aren’t allowed on campus unless you get jabbed
  • AIRmi, retail, distribution is safer so no need for the jab, as they have magic protocols that keep the virus in check.

Am I doing science right guys??

I don’t know about you all but i want to be super safe, a career in retail where I have more interaction with the general public sounds pretty enticing! Who’s in?!

For a trend setting company- they clearly missed the mark on work from home trend! BIG TIME! Look at whiteduckwhq on IG- I can save you millions in trends by this account alone in corporate America! Lol
