Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

RIP Fiserv

I doubt there has been a more precipitous decline in a company than what is happening at Fiserv. Vaccine mandate plus manditory back to office resulting in 20%+ attrition. A ceo that compares us to our bank clients with little to no recognition tgat we are not a bank but a tech company. Millions spent on minority small business to promote Clover yet his own clients suffering outages that violate contractual SLAs. I am shocked that our board and the investment community cannot see beyond the stock price to see a business in shambles with record client dissatisfaction, huge employee attrition. Massive loss of senior talent to competitors and a management team that enriches themselves at the expense of their constituents. While the US struggles with labor shortages our leaders think they will attract 3000 people to New Jersey while others flee from taxes and weather -and in spite of our deteriorating reputation. No wonder applications from Fiserv employees to our competitors are 3X tge norm. I am amazed that neither the news media, Wall Street or the board will pressure this CEO for change when he’s destroying Fiserv through his own ineptitude. Tragic. And we haven’t hit bottom.

See most of you aren’t connected and can understand the process underway. It’s complicated so probably over your head. But for talented people, it’s a home run

The best part was he said he loved commuting to work while he was working from home. True leader!

On a call I was on recently, Guy said "I commute 2 hours both ways and love it!" with a lying smirk on his face. This is the kind of "leadership" we're dealing with, I'm afraid. Not to mention, Guy loves shoving his outdated tooling with inaccurate findings down our throats (Fortify anyone?) to waste everyone's time so that he can lie to clients about us being secure.

Tech jobs in Jersey.. smoke and mirrors. any hires will be filled oversees or by contractors. Jersey's for c-suite and transfers already on the ground in the tri-state.

Fiserv will survive in some form. We'll see how many big clients get cold feet when their legacy cores start having outages and how many 'synergetic' cross sales are lost because of it.

Do you want half of my unbreakable comb?

I've been challenged before.

The Fiserv business is pretty much unbreakable, even by these incompetents. The people that move to New Jersey will do very well

20% is being conservative. Half of the people around me are already gone. Most of the rest are just waiting to get canned unless they move across the country.
