Accommodation Request FAQ Change

It used to say that if you have an accommodation request pending upon your RTO date you'd remain WFH until the accommodation request process was completed.
I am no longer able to locate this anywhere in the available information as of today.
I wonder a couple things:

  1. Is this because there are boatloads of frivolous requests being made because people don't want to RTO?
  2. Has this changed? I know a few people with pending requests - sure hope they're being advised .

I'd ask ... but my Manager knows nothing about any of it despite all those "ask your manager" emails.

I was told by management that there are thousands of requests and there is no way they will be able to process them all by 1-10. They are expecting you to return until it has been processed. Seems extremely risky to me.

Just reach out to the HR Accommodation consultant working on your case. They are actually very nice. Also talk to your manager. He may be looking for guidance but if HR says talk to your manager then OMG your manager has to step up and make a call. I would think that you could as long as you are actively engaging HR to the best of your ability that is all you can do. There are thousands of requests but i was able to get mine completed but i made sure to do a lot of leg work connect with the DRs. Get the waivers back and connect with the consultant about what else is needed.
