for store closings, what's the severance been, if any? i think my store should be safe for at least another year or two but
I am sorry for anyone who is losing their job. It is horrible. One small consolation is that it comes at a time when there are a lot of jobs out there..again thats a small.consolation. what I do not understand is the posters that say that BBBY cares more about money then people.. OF COURSE THEY DO !! SO Doesn't ANY OTHER LARGE COMPANY ! Do you think a company should still keep employees and bleed money? Do you think any company would? Do you have any idea how a large business runs? People with entry level skills make entry level wages it is as simple as that.
My store in NJ is closing. No reassignment just a weak severance package. They don’t care about the people just the money like the old leadership. Just another sad day at the BBB

My lease is up next year. I think it won’t make sense to keep mine open since stores around me have closed.

No not pi---d off employees people who have worked long hours and given up PTO to help this company thrive again. To change and reinvent the brand. To take care of our loyal customers. We are tired and exhausted from all the hard work and constant pivots. In the end it’s about making money. Not only today if you are profitable but long term factor in today’s business and inflation and internet nad overhead ( and that’s not going down)
Unfortunately 2 in the Pittsburgh market is my understanding; McKnight Road store and Wheeling, WV store.
