Below poster, that is if you were RIFd. If you voluntarily leave, you have to be working until December 31st, but that’s a holiday, and your last day can’t be PTO, so January 3rd.

You can definitely get sip even if you are not employed . You just get a prorated amount. Call hr as people are putting out Bad info and just making stuff up
Congratulations!
Enjoy your new life away from (non)human(a) !!
Cut and run, a wise decision!
I am applying for jobs and so far they have said they are willing to delay start date until after January 3. I am clinical and have had great response to job applications. RIF has turned out good for me. I hope everyone finds a job they feel personally good about.
United and Aetna are hiring
Per HR, you can't leave prior to December 31st, which is a holiday, and if you're using pto for your last day, you're ineligible, so you have to work at least until 1/3/2022 to get the AIP
I have been with Humana for over Seven years. What job did you get? I did not opt out, however I was impacted. Please let me know what company you are with.
You have to stay and be employed with Humana until Jan.1, 2022 to be eligible for AIP For 2021
Wondering if you would still get AIP if you quit before disbursement? Does anyone know?
I didn’t opt out, but am looking for other jobs, I’ll still get to take my PTO, and get the AIP if I leave after Jan 1st, so there really isn’t much of a difference, since I don’t have that many years in for severance…I figure the AIP will offset that …looking at Aetna and United…indeed.com has lots of jobs
Everyone I’ve talked to wishes they had opted out.
Do what you can and speak up! I’m glad when anyone can break out and move on. These insurance companies are all about feeding the rich ceo.
Congratulations! I wish I had opted out! This new Cares support job is a cluster!
I am so happy for you!!
Congratulations!!!! Are you clinical or non-clinical?
