We can complain all we want, but for as long as there are new people who are willing to join and replace those who are leaving, nothing will change. Right now, most of the people who join are happy and satisfied with their jobs. I meet plenty of these young folks during the week and I can tell you that none of them feel about the company the way we do. They keep recommending it to their friends, giving it positive reviews... They don't know what it's like to have more so they're satisfied with the crumbs they get. For the rest of us, that means no change on the horizon any time soon.

I’m really happy with my role at Nike. I’m trusted and given more autonomy than anywhere else I’ve worked. Every department is different, if you’re unhappy - spend less time complaining on a forum about sh-t you can’t change and more time finding something that satisfies your needs.
theres a reason why these periods are called honeymoon period, once the makeup comes off they will learn the nature of the beast
It goes beyond young employees though - there have been many new employees who were brought on because they have expertise in a certain area and Nike wanted an outside perspective or to close a gap, but then the new employees come and no one listens to their feedback so they get dissatisfied and leave (this happens a lot!) … I hope that this type of attrition is getting noticed
