Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

How easy was it to find a new job?

The question if for those who are looking now, how easily did you find your new job?
I'm obviously not marketable anymore, because everyone tells me that it's never been easier to find a job, and yet I'm still stuck here because I haven't been able to find anything new for three months now. In the past, I've never had to look for a job for more than three months.
Should I be worried?

Try picking out key words in the job description you're looking at and be sure you have those exact key words in your resume and cover letter when you apply

You'll find a great job!!!! Keep going!!! Sylvester Stallone's first 32 Rocky scripts were rejected, but his 33rd attempt finally got produced and Rocky won an Oscar for best picture in 1976. Yeah, you got this

Anything which deteriorate your mental health is not a place one should work. Don’t work for a sad place, find something which can bring happiness to your life.

It was very easy. I was RIF the last go around and have had 2 job offers outside of Humana. I applied for 25 positions with Humana and not a single offer. That to me says a lot! I’m happy to be leaving for another company. Keep in mind November to January most people put hiring on hold. My offers can after 1/1/22 for positions I applied for during the Holidays. Make sure you highlight your skills that are in the job requirements listed in the job posting. Put the skills at the very top of the resume. The rest is just fluff. Hang in there and keep applying. There are a ton of work from home jobs out there and those that aren’t remote are paying a whole lot of money right now. I recommend using LinkedIn. Good luck.

I found one on indeed and was offered a job within 2 weeks …make sure your resume matches the job description of what you’re applying for…
