I got sh---y raise so I will apply bi--h tax. I will take my time doing things. No more hurrying. If the rat ba----ds don’t give a sh-t enough to give their people good raises then why should we give a sh-t about them and their products? If as a team you all do things real real slow and find little road block you can put in management’s way…… as fu-k it! I’m just going to go get a remote job. It’s more cost effective and time effective. I’ve been wanting my life back since they pulled us back into the office.

Think about this… the bank got hit with huge fines last year, and JD, got a ridiculous raise….. the workers, come in , do their jobs, and continue to get shafted. Boys and Girls, what do we call that? Communism! There are a lot of companies out there that are not like this. Seek and you shall find! … I did!

I am getting a 4.5% raise but no bonus.... if you think about it, 2.95% of it comes just for keeping up with inflation and the remainder is actually the same amount as the bonus I got last year. So they combined the bonus and “raise” to make the amount larger when at end, it’s just a 2.95% raise with the same low bonus as last year, and they try to make it seems a lot. The most f***ed up part is my manager said don’t take it out on his A’s he is just a messenger..... just wow, way to go trying to standup for your own men, just shifting blame and Playing d-mb. Guess I will do the same, in the mean time, while looking for another job

The news reports all the profits for these banks like we are all getting a slice of this really great news and the reality is, unless you got a 20%raise, you got nothing because of inflation.

And this is why folks you don't permanently alter your life for a job that will drop you when they have a bad Tuesday. The job doesn't offer you a lifelong pension, why would you modify yourself permanently for a job?

Unbelievable all of the top management gets incredible raises and bonuses and after a record breaking year in profits and revenues and the people doing all the grunt work get a measly 1-5% which doesn’t even come near to inflation. I’m done. Going to mail it in until I find something new. Never been so hopeful for a decent raise only to be slapped in the face with an insulting raise.
I got no raise. I guess I’m on the next RIF list. To think, I got jabbed for this job and now my future here is apparently not very safe. I got a bad review as well, so I wasn’t surprised at no raise. I’m just disappointed I got jabbed to stay employed and now it doesn’t really matter.

You are not alone. I'm in CIB 602 - High performance rated according to the line manager. Got less than 4% salary increase while the inflation rate is 7% in 2021 so this seem like I got cut on my salary! IC is way less than what I expected.
I got 7.3% this year. Not much but at least beat the inflation.
