Another layoff this week, all at the VP and SVP levels, all to meet a budget. Want to know how messed up things are? People were let go so fast that there was no thought and no plan for some of the teams that reported to these leaders. It’s shameful.

Corporate marketing has done a bunch of useless promotions over the last year
Fiserv is very top heavy since FD merger and it got worse. Every time I turn around managers are now directors; extra layers now at the top level.
Yes FD took there beating and Omaha is fine. FOS was in the cross hairs this week.

No one here is posting their location or specifics of layoffs. I have not seen evidence of this in Omaha.
Frank makes like $40 million a year and is HEAVILY overpaid according to many web sites that calculate CEO salaries. Unfortunately, many id--tic board members hire other id--tic board members and pay them ridiculous salaries.

the cuts are not just at the svp/vp level. It's all levels.
Unfortunately, Fiserv was very top heavy. There really are way too many VP's and SVP's that have outrageous compensation packages that are so much higher than the average undervalued Fiserv employee. You know the people that do all the work. I, however, am not a fan of reducing staff to make a profit. That's bad management - That is Frank for you. Maybe he should reduce his compensation and the compensation of the 21 C suite executives that are constantly kissing his rings??
