District staff (if they have no direct reports) such as AreaHR and the Install. Centralization of departments means no need for boots on the ground support from either of those 2 roles. They already did it to the TAPS, no longer a district role as they had no direct reports. Days are numbered.
It’s true, we are being organized to be easily replaceable. It’s difficult to have any loyalty to a company that operates this way, but Lowe’s Corp doesn’t really care about retaining associates. If you leave on time, your not working hard enough.
It seems like all the imposed synchronization of our procedures is meant to make us easily replaceable like batteries in a flashlight.
At store 2845, the so called Cabinet "Specialists" are referred to as chair warmers.
PSE is being changed from a store to an area position.
Dedicated cabinet specialist—Cabinets and appliances being merged in all stores below $50 million in annualized sales
Pricing/signage coordinator
Other positions that I would keep an eye on:
Back end clerk
SSA’s
Delivery coordinator
Any remaining specialist position
70 percent of cabinet specialists gone company wide only a matter of time before all gone
PSE, Pricing Coordinator and Cabinet Specialist this year. Just my opinion based on the direction this company is heading .
