Thread regarding 3M layoffs

TTS Layoffs and re org

Looks like it is time for that annual lay off and re org. Heard of small pockets being laid off this week and then the announcement of TTS this morning. Good luck to those affected by these lay offs. Those who are laid off and those left to do the work.

Five years in a row of IT layoffs. The applications leader should be fired given the track record of the ERP program. The new CIDO talks in circles and does seem to make decisions. This place is a mess and the only solution seems to be layoff more people to try and pay for the disaster of an ERP program.

About 27 jobs cut in TTS for US.
Ranges from job grades 8,9 all the way up to 14.
Roles that are non essential and duties that other resources can absorb.

Got laid off under TTS after 8.7 years of service. Honestly my work load started dwindling since 2015 ever since gscs came into picture and started taking work away. And then when polaris and runsap became one team around 2018 more work was taken away from me - not my fault. And now? Hm we took your duties away from you you're free from us now get out

I doubt the GSCs are safe from job cuts. Those jobs will be done by artificial intelligence in a few years. Their only hope is AI will refuse to follow their bizarre SOPs ;-)

The GSCs are taking all of the work from the US layoffs. That's how they cut costs. GSC employees will never be impacted by a layoff.

Will those on SAP deployment teams feel betrayed to be laid off once the company has achieved their objectives? Sad case.

TTS = Technology Transformation Services (?)

Basically it is the IT group and the absolutely useless SAP project.

I have never heard anyone laid off from a GSC. I would assume this will all be non GSC based.
