I worry a lot about cuts. Losing my job now would be a disaster for me personally. Does anyone have information on how far we are from the cuts?

Doubtful, because of the reimbursement amounts of the higher quadrant members
@6wfz+1eKaflpl I also work in Medicaid. I’m terrified. Does anyone know if Medicaid is in trouble?
I’m so anxious too! Do you think Medicaid is safe?
I’m a social worker in care support and we are slammed
The poster Post ID: @2wtu+1eKaflpl is referring to other roles outside of Humana Care Support. So many layoffs in that department and this is the only way we can communicate information. I don’t know why other areas don’t post on here because I know there have been many layoffs in many departments at Humana over the last four years
Cuts almost always happen in sync with the end of a quarter. March, June, Sept, December, with notification given 60 days before that.
Between the millions owed back to Medicare, the tanking stock, the low member enrollment, and the very little work there is to do, it’s obvious what is to come by the end of the first quarter.
To the poster that says not every role is running out of work and is very busy, would you care to share what roles, department, or program you are speaking of? SNP of course will always be very busy. Outside of that is anyone else busy?
That is good to hear. Glad some areas of Humana are busy.
Not everyone or every role is running out of work! Some of the other disciplines, besides nursing, are very busy
So if they accounted for the lower number of members then why do we run out of work By 930 or 10 AM?
maybe the RIF that happened before open enrollment ended, which was a strange thing in and of itself, was the RIF that was to accommodate the amount of people that did enroll, and Humana expected a lower amount, so all roles are ok right now, since the prior RIF addressed the new staffing needs?
It’s not looking good. We had new mbrs trickle in last week but none this week and we are out of calls to make by mid-morning. Managers have been very very quiet.
I feel the same. If anyone has any info please let us know.
