Does Workday has this feature that shows how many ppl are currently employed at WF? I’ve checked today and PeopleSoft returned 288489. Did we hire 30000+ people over the last 2 weeks????

Why do you care if we want to see it?
The point is that WFC can’t get their facts straight or their technology straight. It’s a troublesome pattern of mediocrity with our systems and our leadership. WFC will never be able to reduce headcount because each piece of technology requires so many time-intensive manual work-arounds. They are just shipping jobs overseas. No across-the-board consistency with the systems, no intuitive features, it takes multiple systems to accomplish one job, and the information is often not reliable.
If you’re not interested-that’s fine, but don’t mock the employees who do.
Oh, FFS -- it says in a plum-colored box on Teamworks that the numbers may be higher because contractors are now included after the Workday conversion. It was pointed out earlier in this very thread as well as the weekly headcount thread.
Just like the rest of the world, you can see the headcount updated each quarter on the earnings report. The earnings report tells you his progress and also the current bank efficiency numbers. Why do you need a day by day update on it? Does it help you perform optimally? Does it help you find efficiencies to better help the bank?

I disagree wholeheartedly. Employee headcount is an important metric in determining Charlie’s progress in his promise to cut costs and increase efficiencies. We have been consistently criticized for not being in line with our peers regarding our efficiency ratio.
Most employees do care about the health of the bank, and where Charlie is on his commitment to reduce headcount by 25%.
Yes because employee headcount is a real important metric used by the peons to get daily work done. 🙄🙄🙄. Those that need to know headcount, know it. Most of us don’t need to know, i’m surprised they didn’t remove it from TW with the switch to Workday.
WFC NEVER gets anything right in its initial rollout. They put nonsensical due dates on installation projects, and would rather force a mediocre outcome then take their time to get it right from the start. Where’s the testing???
Our Executives have never followed the “Measure twice, cut once” motto.
More SNAFU
all our wf i and p employees roll up though CS and showed up on the old system as well.
It looks like to me that they were not including employees that were outside the US. If you look at jobs in Workday, they are hiring tons of people in other countries. It’s interesting that a company under such regulatory scrutiny is allowed to do this. I am sure there are plenty of areas throughout the US that would love to have those jobs

Yep. Here’s the thread for this - Post ID: @OP+1cnYQtYP
Workday migration, MS Teams migration, service now migration is the worst I have seen in my 9 years in the corporate world. I don't have words to describe how bad it is.
That's an insane number of contractors. Likely all bloat to meet regulator demands.
Contractors. There's already a headcount thread.
Saw that as well, went from like 248K to 288K. My guess is there's an error connected with the workday update, like all the .zz employees are getting included something. Give it a couple days.
