I’ve been thinking a lot about it, but I don’t know if Nike could have had a better strategy during the pandemic. I'd love to hear what you think about it.

Are you honestly suggesting that there was some memo from Blackrock to select CEOs that a pandemic was coming - so they should resign ? I get the frustration with the unclear direction on masks, vaccinations, business closures, etc. but it is going to be a tall task to take your comment seriously at all when you trot out consipiratorial bull$*$t like what you just wrote. I really hope you're one of those ding dongs that Nike will terminate for not vaccinating. I suggest you stick to the facts, know where Nike is responsible, and how they made mistakes.
Real leadership wouldn’t have gone along with all the nonsense. MASKS!! How stupid, wear some fabric over your face and that will help end this deadly pandemic, so d-mb. Lockdown to stop the spread, we knew it was the elderly and the obese that were most effected by this virus, oh but btw it’s totally safe to protest!! All the small businesses had to close down but gigantic chains could stay open, McDonalds could stay open!! Such a scam. And I used to have so much respect for those at the top of companies like Nike and Columbia, but they sold us out. Mark Parker probably resigned because the people at Blackrock new this was coming and gave him and others a heads up, hundreds of CEOs resigned in late 2019 and it wasn’t just a coincidence. We, the worker bee’s, all got screwed so they could make more money.
I feel like they could've been more up front about why they wanted everyone back on campus. You can't hide those brand spanking new empty office buildings they spent hundreds of millions on or the fact that Nike gets a tax break when there's butts in seats on campus. We all know this and their attempts at gaslighting us were pretty bad.
At the end of the day, the virus doesn't care about any of that. It will probably take another year or so for healthy people to be able to largely survive COVID whether or not they are immunized, just like the common flu. It could've been sooner if more people would've gotten the shot.
