so I was mapped to a new job title whose pay grade is much higher than my current. You probably wonder how could this happen I do not know either. Manager said oh finally we are recognized that we are doing more advanced analysis. However, this will not change our base salary...... what even so they admit we are underpaid but just give us a title that looks cooler and make us feel better...lolololol (no wonder why turnover rate is so high). The good thing I am thinking is that pay raise could be higher for internal move. This is a totally different job family am I illusional here?

I have received a bonus every year and I am hourly.
Hourly vs Salary has nothing to do with bonus eligibility.
They would have had to make you hourly to not be bonus eligible. However, i am not sure there is such a thing as a bonus anymore unless you are management. They will come up with some formula to call it total compensation. Here is the other definition. We have a 65MM ho-e in Technology. No bonus will help eat into that. Charlie will tell everyone we will all suffer a little (except him and the rest of his whatever) to make WF hit its goals.

Wait until a year from now when your wage is at the way low end of the spectrum for the title... you could see a nice bump at that point - it's happened to me a couple times. The only way I've ever gotten a decent raise out of WF in over 20 years
I hope it works out in your favor. I got mapped to a lower title and essentially received a demotion. I am no longer bonus eligible so I am also receiving a pay cut.
